It was an honour to take part in the Northumberland Miners Picnic Memorial Service and lay a wreath on behalf of North East Museums. I will be on ITV News Tyne Tees later talking about how we keep the traditions of the Picnic and North East coal mining communities alive at Woodhorn Museum.
