Last month, Carleton College Assistant Professor of Art, Jade Hoyer, and her students taught Greenvale Park students to make handmade paper for a paper quilt that will be installed permanently in the school.

Jade is the recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, making this amazing project possible.

Physics students from an Optics class at Carleton College recently presented information and hands-on learning activities to Greenvale Park 5th grade students. The Carleton students were able to share projects on different applications of optics, including color, light & lasers.

NHS utilized a Minnesota State High School League grant to attend the Together in Partnership 3.0 conference to support the Student Advisory and Leadership Team. This was a terrific opportunity to grow as leaders and bring back insight to support our NHS student leadership work!

Spring Creek student Grant Zimmerman had a special job this fall: helping prepare turkeys for the presidential pardoning! Grant will be traveling to Washington, D.C. with his father, John, for the ceremony.
