🌟 Excited to announce our 2nd keynote speaker: Don’t Boo…Revolt! Bass! Renowned for her courageous civil disobedience in 2015, she's an advocate for racial and economic justice. Join us at #CityscapesSummit, May 15th-17th 2024 in #Durham, NC. Register now: newgrowth.org/cityscapes

We had a wonderful time at New Growth Innovation Network's Cityscapes Summit, last week in #DurhamNC where our team presented the "BlackWall Street Forward: Catalyzing Wealth Creation Through Social Enterprise Support Networks" session.

It was a pleasure to open the collar a bit at the NGIN Cityscapes Summit 2024. Creating an inclusive economy is hard, but there are good people doing the work that’s necessary to make it happen. Thank you for inviting me. 📷 mediabyprince

At New Growth Innovation Network’s Cityscapes Summit a few weeks ago, RJ McGrail shared lessons from our Accelerating Community Investment initiative in a fireside chat with participants @aromero_nm (New Mexico Impact Investing Collaborative) and Christopher G. Pike, EDFP, CPM (Jackson Redevelopment Authority).

May's Small and Midsized City Practitioner Spotlight is on Angel Iset Dozier, founder of Be Connected Durham & Beyond. Her initiative uses arts, culture, and music to address disparities and promote equity. Watch her interview and connect on NGIN’s SMC Hub! ➡️hub.newgrowth.org

Our June #SMC Practitioner Spotlight is Jacques Colon , Chief Strategy Officer for City of Tacoma! He leads key initiatives like the #Equity Index, which won the #NGIN Luminary Award at the #CityscapesSummit2024. Watch his interview on hub.newgrowth.com! #EconomicDevelopment

We're thrilled to announce NGIN has received a grant from the Gates Foundation to continue the Advancing Economic Mobility initiative. We'll provide yearlong support and up to $30,000 to five communities to enhance collaboration and economic mobility. Stay tuned for updates!
