Just wrapped up the NGN 2024- the first in-person conference organized by me & Amrutha Swaminathan. The previous 3 editions of the meeting organized by the IISER Pune neuroscience community set a template of egalitarian & sustainable meetings focusing on early career researchers.

#NGN2024 featured 30 contributed talks by participants at all career stages with ~40% female speakers. In addition, we had 68 posters, half by female researchers. We also featured a panel discussion on the ethical use of AI in research. #WomenInSTEM

All of this was possible only due to our organizing team, who put utmost dedication and hard work into making everything go seamlessly. They were the true driving force behind the success of #NGN2024.

Thanks to Poonam Thakur & Amrutha Swaminathan for entrusting us & providing this great opportunity! Organizing #NGN2024 was an awesome learning exposure for all of us. Three days of amazing neuroscience, cool company and discussions. Overall a great experience👍
