A process which cost the taxpayer a sum extending well into 7 figures. And of course, she spearheaded the doomed, repeated and monstrously expensive failed attempt to downgrade acute medical services in Winchester to build a shiny new hospital in Basingstoke.

I cannot imagine many clinicians in Winchester will be doing anything other than celebrating this announcement. I, for one, hope that no other NHS Trust, body of staff or patient population are exposed to such a prime example of incompetent NHS senior management.
