Today the AERA Committee is meeting at Castle Archdale Country Park. Members are currently hearing from Waterways Ireland. Earlier in the morning the Committee received a briefing from Loughs Agency

This week, the Committee held an informative visit to Counties Fermanagh and Tyrone, during which Members met local stakeholders to discuss issues such as peatland restoration, fisheries, conservation and the circular economy.

Irish Minister for Fisheries and the Marine Environment, Timmy Dooley, met with members of the AERA Committee on his recent visit to Northern Ireland. We had a productive discussion focused on key issues and the vital importance of North/South cooperation.
