Thank you to Kinetic Kids for coming out & showing our students what it’s like to have a disability. They learned about prosthetics, blindness, being in a wheelchair, brain injuries, & occupational therapy. It was an amazing day!

We will be collecting plastic sacks through March 3 -April 4 to turn into HEB to recycle, and if we turn in the most in the area, we could win a $500 HEB gift card! If you have plastic bags we’d love to take them off of your hands to benefit our school!!

Our 4th graders put on a fabulous Town Meeting with a Living Museum! They did a fantastic job singing & telling us all about their person of importance & the contributions they made to our community & world.

It’s the last day of the plastic bag collection & our Buckaroo’s brought it!!! We collected over 50000 bags! This is just the haul from the past couple of days. Truckloads have come & gone! Our admin can’t go home! They’re buried up to their eyeballs!! Great job everyone! Northside ISD

Monday our Beard STAAR Pep Rally was so much fun! We had teacher competitions, battle of the Admins, & a Special Buckaroo Boys skit. Good luck to all of our test takers this month!

Our Beard Elementary 3rd graders finished up designing on Tinkercad, 3D printing, & manufacturing Fiesta Medals. I promised them I’d wear my sash so I could have medals too!! Great job engineers!! What a great way to celebrate Fiesta in SA.

Last night was the KENS5 Excel Award Banquet where they honored all 19 recipients of the award. We had a lovely evening & I loved that Sandra Bonnet & Jessica Palomares came too! We even got some Personalized swag! Thank you KENS 5 & Credit Human for a wonderful night. ❤️
