Counselor Cafecito helping parents navigate student emotions coming back to school. Thank you Mrs. Mata from NISDWholeChild for coming and presenting. Parents were so excited to get resources that they can use at home to spark those emotion talks with their child.


The first lunch & learn was a success O'Connor High School! Staff learned about the brain and how to support students’ neuroplasticity regarding the amygdala. Thank you to culinary for providing lunch to all who attended. Check out the rest of the series!


This year NISD Health Careers launched a SEB Team dedicated to strengthening educators’ practices to support student academic success. For today’s retreat, we explored how our personal values align with those of the campus, & how it shapes the way we support one another and our students.

We had a great time presenting to K–12 art educators on the power of class meetings! We started w/a slow-mo high five, explored ready-made resources & dug into how consistent meetings support students’ social-emotional growth & build strong classroom communities. Northside Fine Arts

Shout out to Boldt Elementary for diving into Brain & Self-Regulation! 🧠 Self-regulation = managing thoughts, behaviors & interactions. When we understand where students are, we can meet their needs. Strong Tier 1 supports are key to whole child success! ✨
