Our team used long-read DNAseq to investigated structural variants in PRKN in Parkinson´s disease doi.org/10.1002/mds.29…. The team of Stefanis found a reduction of PRKN gene expression in mutation carriers blood, but not related to structural variants. Mechanisms to be found!
