This is a proud moment for the Netherlands: with the opening of the Public Forum, the #NATOsummit has officially begun. This is the first time that a NATO Summit is taking place in our country, a milestone for a country that has always highly valued transatlantic cooperation.

This #NATOsummit comes at a crucial time for global security. We hit the ground running at the NATO Public Forum. Mark Rutte and Dick Schoof opened the floor to experts, politicians, opinion makers and civil society organisations, discussing developments that impact our security.
