District Hospital at Sheopur organized a mega screening camp in a remote area, primarily catering to the Sahariya tribal community. 138 persons underwent medical examinations. 25 patients diagnosed with cataract conditions received successful surgical treatment at the DH.

In a joint collaboration of NPCBVI and RBSK NHM, 11 children identified during the Mission Netra Jyoti abhiyan programme in Mandla underwent cataract surgery in the 1st phase.

Doctors are reaching out to rural communities to provide eye care services at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Sheshram, a remote and underserved area located approximately 250 km from the district headquarters in Sheopur under NPCB&VI programme, NMH Madhya Pradesh.
