Love seeing this! HMP Manchester had an urgent notification about 6 months ago (prison equivalent of special measures), and Unlocked Graduates participants there really wanted to help create more rehabilitative opportunities for the prisoners in their care. This is one idea they had!

Half of all prisoners left school without a single qualification(!) so the right incentives to engage in prison education could be revolutionary! But if this is to actually reduce reoffending then it requires structured support. My thoughts in FE Week feweek.co.uk/early-prisoner…
