A common livestock practice we offer is an Animal Mortality Facility. It is designed to reduce the impacts to soil & groundwater resources, reduce the impacts of odors, & decrease the spread of associated pathogens. Last FY we invested $1.7 million dollars in this vital practice.

Tree/shrub establishment involves planting seedlings or cuttings, seeding, or creating conditions that promote natural regeneration & and is a common forestry practice here in N.C. This conservation practice usually follows tree/shrub site preparation.
