Congratulations, Secretary Doug Burgum and Secretary Chris Wright, on being chosen to lead the National Energy Dominance Council. We look forward to working with you on policies that prioritize electric reliability.

Looking forward to sitting down with POLITICO Live, tomorrow morning, for a conversation on the future of energy policy. Joining me are Rep. Bob Latta, Randy Weber and Senator John Hickenlooper. Should be a great discussion. RSVP here: bit.ly/4hbZjim

Had a great meeting with Lee Zeldin today, discussing the need to repeal the U.S. EPA power plant rule and other harmful regulations. I urged him to look to co-ops and NRECA as trusted partners in advancing President Donald J. Trump’ pro-energy agenda.

Thank you, Secretary Brooke Rollins, for coming to #PowerXchange25. Dept. of Agriculture is a critical partner in helping electric co-ops sustain and revitalize rural communities across America. We appreciate your commitment to cutting bureaucratic red tape by expediting environmental permitting reviews.

Had a productive meeting with Secretary Chris Wright today and shared the story of how co-ops are responding to skyrocketing energy demand. He agreed that U.S. Department of Energy should play an important role in helping us keep the lights on today while meeting the growing energy needs of tomorrow.

Thank you to Secretary Brooke Rollins and President Donald J. Trump for recognizing the importance of Dept. of Agriculture funding for electric co-ops. This week’s announcement outlining the next steps to releasing funds will help co-ops meet skyrocketing energy needs. Read my full statement here: bit.ly/4j3Wu3s

Great to join President Donald J. Trump at the The White House today for the signing of executive orders recognizing the critical role that always available energy plays in maintaining a reliable grid. Several co-op CEOs and I were in attendance. Read my full statement here: bit.ly/42nNBLE

At a time when electricity demand is skyrocketing, we need to be adding more always-available energy to the grid, not shutting down power plants that have useful life left. Thank you @potus, Secretary Chris Wright, Lee Zeldin and Secretary Doug Burgum for prioritizing reliable energy.

Thank you to Rep. Scott Peters and Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. for giving us your perspectives from the Hill. It was a great conversation on the work you are doing on behalf of co-ops in Congress.

Honored to welcome Rep. Brett Guthrie, Shelley Moore Capito and Angie Craig as speakers at NRECA’ Legislative Conference! Thank you for championing policies that empower co-ops and strengthen rural communities.

Thank you, Senator Amy Klobuchar, for joining us at the NRECA Broadband Leadership Summit and for your strong leadership on expanding rural broadband.

Thank you, Congresswoman Erin Houchin, for joining us at the Broadband Summit and supporting efforts to connect more rural communities.

.President Donald J. Trump' executive action rolling back plans to breach the Lower Snake River dams is a big win for reliable, affordable power in the Pacific Northwest. We appreciate the administration’s continuing commitment to smart energy policies. bit.ly/3ZwaVGp
