القمر الاصطناعي العربي 813، الممول من وكالة الإمارات للفضاء، يبدأ مرحلة الاختبارات البيئية في منشأة التجميع والتكامل والاختبار التابعة للمركز الوطني لعلوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء. تهدف هذه المرحلة المحورية إلى ضمان جاهزية القمر لتحمّل الظروف القاسية أثناء الإطلاق وفي الفضاء.

يُعد اختبار الفراغ الحراري (TVAC) من أهم مراحل التأهيل البيئي للأقمار الصناعية. يتم هذا الاختبار داخل حجرات خاصة تحاكي ظروف الفضاء، بما في ذلك الفراغ الكامل والتغيرات الحرارية الشديدة التي يتعرض لها القمر الصناعي في مداره من درجات حرارة مرتفعة إلى درجات منخفضة جداً.
