Good learning day at LMC Secretaries conference at BMA house with our amazing, dynamic leader of General Practice @DrKatie.BSky.Social . Great session supporting GP partnership model.

Itās a proud day for Dr/Cllr Chandra Kanneganti CBE who has been to Windsor today with his family to collect his CBE.

Joined fellow GPās and hospital consultant colleagues at Trentham Gardens parkrun in memory of brilliant Dr. Alison Brind, Consultant Hepatologist at UHNM NHS Trust š„ who sadly passed away recently. UHNM Charity š„ Anna Pigott š¶

Great to speak at #UKLMCConf supporting motion about ambulance delays and actions that need to be taken to support GP practices. Great conference General Practice at beautiful Celtic Manor in Newport.

Brilliant Speech by General Practice Chair @DrKatie.BSky.Social in the first GPC roadshow in Staffordshire today making a strong case for proper funding for General Practice and collective actions by GPās to achieve that.

Really Good Attendance from Northstaffs Practices organised by NorthStaffs LMC. Practices are behind GPCE and we ready to take action #collectiveaction Protect your patients, protect your GP practice bma.org.uk/our-campaigns/⦠via The BMA Thank you @DrKatie.BSky.Social for your timeš

Why is this not a good solution? Wes Streeting General Practice - GPs are not additional they are core. - GPs wonāt be working in one practice as theyāll be PCN employed. - ā newly qualified GPās need to have support & mentoring within one practice to settle. - ā proposed extra funding

Great result with 98.3% of members voting Yes for collective actions. N Staffs LMC will meet today to discuss and confirm to practices the actions that will be recommended to start asap. To assure patients, we will do actions that does not affect direct patient care. I hope

Wes Streeting Royal College of General Practitioners The Pledge of ending red tape is done number of times before with- 1.2001- Reducing Bureaucracy in GP 2. 2015- Making Time in General Practice 3. 2016- GP Forward View We donāt need another Fuller report with outcomes which we already know, we need actions and proper resourcing.

Health Service Journal What a stupid idea? GP partnership model is the main reason that sustained General Practice in UK. HSJ readers should remember that there is £1.1bn deficit Trusts accrued in 23/24 compared with £0 of GP practices across UK who are still running as successful independent

Collective action should be known as corrective action - Dr/Cllr Chandra Kanneganti CBE šš¾ Major issue debate on Collective Action at 2024 Conference of England LMCs 2024 Live stream bma.org.uk/what-we-do/locā¦
