Nice to be back Northumberland for a couple of days - absolutely freezing but top views of Eiders and 3 Red-brested merganser with plenty of waders at Alnmouth today including Curlew, Redshank, Bar-wit, Grey Plover, Turnstone and Oycs Space for Shorebirds Northumberland Northumberland Wildlife Trust Northumberland & Tyneside Bird Club

Another excellent wader filled walk up to Boulmer on the Northumberland coast today - with Barwit, Sanderling, Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Curlew & Turnstone all showing well and a Purple Sandpiper was new for the year as were 2 Gannets Space for Shorebirds Northumberland Northumberland Wildlife Trust Northumberland & Tyneside Bird Club
