Yr 11s had the fantastic experience of hearing poetry on the GCSE course read by celebrated poets and distinguished Poet Laureates. In the words of John Agard "poetry is a marriage of the conscious and subconscious". A wonderful day of unlocking our inner poet! Northwood College for Girls

It's been a busy week with NWC Library and the English department joining forces to celebrate #worldbookday. Virtual bookshelves, a book cafe with students and teachers and, yesterday, a trip to Shakespeare’s Globe to see Othello. Sixth-formers loved it! Northwood College for Girls
