Students heard from Ms. Reta Jo Lewis, President & Chair of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Export-Import Bank. For our Kennan Lecture, Archive: Official Account of the EXIM Chair Lewis provided insight into the important work Export-Import Bank does to support national security, prosperity & global partnerships.

Chargé d’affaires Sade Bimantara & delegation visited National War College to discuss #Indonesia’s enduring partnership with National Defense University. Indonesian students across the university share democratic values, gain new insights as future strategic leaders & contribute to joint security cooperation.

The NWC Class of 2025 is now in core course 6310, where our future leaders delve into the use of diplomatic, information, and economic instruments of power in ensuring security. Lots of insightful discussions and strategic thinking!

NWC faculty recently addressed the World Affairs Council in Naples, Florida on a range of national security topics. This is just one of the many ways our expert faculty are advancing our understanding of national security issues and #strategy.

Our final core course, the Domestic Context, helps students think critically about the many moving parts within the domestic environment and assess the impacts on strategy creation and implementation, while honing the #skills to be successful in these environments!

NWC students visited Capitol Hill, meeting with staffers and observing the inner workings of Congress, providing critical insights for our strategist's understanding of the legislative branch and its role in the formulation and implementation of national security strategy.
