'Happy Birthday' to the Doncaster Free Press this week as it notches up 100 years. Stu Chandler and Craig Lightowler combined to create some celebratory pages in today's edition, with an inside feature by Darren Burke. Also today, Ros Jones - Mayor of Doncaster issues a Doncaster Sheffield Airport update.

The Wimbledon Championships start today and National World Publishing titles have produced an 8-page preview, with Neil Pickford, Stu Chandler and Daniel Bailey all contributing. The front features current champs Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejcikova, along with Emma Raducanu and Novak Djokovic.

Nice headline adaptation by Aidan Townsend for Shields Gazette and a splash on the fall in teacher numbers in South Tyneside, according to Department for Education figures. It's after The Labour Party said it would recruit 6,500 new teachers, paid for by ending tax breaks for private schools.


Some great design work by Dean Mellor for this Lancashire Post spread on KC, who ditched Lancs to live lavishly in Asia for half the price. She originally posted a video on TikTok UK two years stating plans to visit Thailand and Bali, and has been on the road ever since.
