Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop by early afternoon, working their way eastward. A few of these storms will be capable of producing brief damaging winds, and a level 1 severe weather risk is in place for much of central Illinois. #ILwx

Scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast through the end of the week, most commonly during the afternoon hours. However, rain chances will be fairly low (20-30%) on Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures will generally be in the mid to upper 80s. #ILwx
