Dry weather continues for all today, and most tomorrow. Some isolated afternoon showers are possible mainly for south-central KY tomorrow, but the rest of the area will remain dry. Better rain chances come Mon and Tue as a low pressure system meanders into the Ohio Valley.

It will be a dry Mother's Day for most, with a chance for isolated showers across south-central KY later this afternoon. Shower activity will increase across the entire area for tonight and especially tomorrow. Additional shower and storm chances are possible through Wednesday.

This evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to begin lifting north into southern Kentucky. Later tonight, as the precipitation gets farther north, thunderstorms will become less likely.

It's a rainy start to the week, with scattered showers across the region this morning. Intervals of showers and storms will continue throughout today and tomorrow for the entire region, and east of I-65 on Wed. We warm up on Thursday to the upper 80s with plenty of sun.
