Another pleasant day is on tap across the Mid-South. A few locations could see a couple of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. The best chances (20 to 30%) remain across West TN, but the majority of the area will likely remain dry.

Wildfire smoke from Canada will continue making its way down here tomorrow... We'll see more hazy skies but this smoke is NOT expected to reach the surface or cause hazardous air quality issues for us tomorrow. Most of this smoke is very high up in the atmosphere 🔥

Sunny conditions are on the horizon again today, although some haziness is still expected. Enjoy the sunshine and warmer temperatures as things will likely become soggy again by the end of the week.

Looks like warmer weather is here to stay this week. High temperatures are expected to remain above 85 with rain showers possible starting Wednesday night.

Storms are back in the forecast for this upcoming weekend. A slight (2/5) risk of severe storms is currently forecast both Friday and Saturday afternoon. The primary threats are expected to be damaging winds and hail.
