October has been filled with Fall fun 🎃in NYCID Aftercare  Allan.PS 48.  We picked pumpkins courtesy of NYCID and decorated them with paint and Jack o lantern faces.  We also had a blast at the glow party to celebrate Lights on After School.

NYCID SONYC SI Sch of Civ Ldrshp hosted it's 6th Annual Holiday Around the World Party. During this event we included our participant's by having them bring in a cultural dish, dessert or traditional dish they enjoy during the holiday season.

NYCID COMPASS Holiday Showcase. Students worked really hard on their performances and were excited to showcase all of their hard work and dedication to their parents, teachers and school community. What a beautiful show it was and it truly helped get us all in the holiday spirit!

NYCID SONYC SI Sch of Civ Ldrshp hosted its first Spirit Week of 2025! The goal of this spirit week was to foster a sense of community, enthusiasm within the program. We organized fun dress-up days etc. Our spirit week themes were DC VS Marvel, Twin Day, Disney, Sports, and Celebrity Day!

NYCID SONYC SI Sch of Civ Ldrshp hosted a Valentines day Bake sale selling lots of lovely treats and desserts. During this time we also hosted a Valentines day gift bag raffle. There were 4 gift bags with golden hearts inside and the lucky people to buy these bags won an Amazon gift card.

On February 27, 2025 three of our public schools provided an incentive award to Medieval Times.  The students who achieved 90% attendance, displayed positive behaviors in school, and demonstrated academic progress.We had a total of 160 students from PS 16, PS 10, PS 78 and PS 44.
