Allan belonged to us — a Washington Heights neighbor, a brother, a father, a son. How do I return to my constituents and ensure them that they are safe with Lt. Rivera continuing to serve in the NYPD with impunity?

Good Morning! I started the day early by talking to Pat Kiernan on Spectrum News NY1 Mornings on 1 about the passage of our bill that ensures street vendors don’t face jail time for trying to feed their families. Did you catch us this morning?

Really proud of this package of bills we passed in the Council to address LGBTQ homelessness here in New York City - glad they’re in effect!

Wow, City Limits has been on this story for YEARS. Back in November 2023, I broke the news that Mayor Adams just... wasn't planning to implement CityFHEPS reforms the City Council had passed: citylimits.org/full-package-o…

Always proud to stand on the side of the working people. We can afford to pay our workers. What we cannot afford is not having a legal line of defense against a hostile federal administration.

If you are victim of an emergency, you shouldn’t have to leave. You deserve to go back home, and today we are passing laws to make sure that can happen.

Yesterday, New York City Council passed my bill, part of the Back Home Act, to help displaced tenants stay in their neighborhoods— so kids can stay in their schools, be close to family, & have the same commute. I'm proud to work with CM Jen Gutiérrez & Pierina Sanchez NYC to protect tenants.

The NYCProgressives.bsky.social proudly uplifted their bargaining demands during this year’s budget because we know what’s at stake. We’re wondering if Eric knows, too. Solidarity forever with the working people of our city #newyorkisauniontown
