Thank you JCRC of New York for arranging our visit to the Boro Park Matzah Bakery. Learning the meanings and practices of Jewish traditions dating back thousands of years was enlightening, and a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful meet and greet with 58th District Assemblywoman Monique Chandler-Waterman Monique Chandler-Waterman . It was great reconnecting again. I look forward to our partnership together in promoting public safety and improving quality of life for our community.


Engaging with our community leaders is vital. I had a productive meeting with NYPD 67th Precinct Community Council President Patricia Reddock who has been a pillar within East Flatbush for over 25 years.


I had the privilege of meeting long-time community leaders, Rabbi Bernard Freilich, Rabbi Abe Friedman, D. Heskiel, and Chief of NYPD Community Affairs Chief Taylor. With Passover drawing near, we remain dedicated to ensuring the safety of our community.



Stopped by 3rd Platoon roll call NYPD 72nd Precinct and had the pleasure of meeting some of the dedicated young officers serving the Sunset Park community. I am proud of their commitment to keeping our neighborhoods safe and strong.


I had the privilege of attending the retirement walk-out for Officer Mark Borenstein, who dedicated 25 years of his life to the NYPD—all with the NYPD 71st Precinct. Wishing him all the best. Thank you for your service, Mark.


Thank you to Devorah Halberstam for hosting our visit to the JewishChildrenMuseum in Crown Heights. The museum, dedicated to the memory of her son Ari—tragically killed in a 1994 terrorist attack—is a powerful tribute to resilience, education, and the fight against hate.


Yesterday, we met with Chevra Hatzalah of Flatbush to see firsthand how they run their operations and collaborate with the NYPD to keep our neighborhoods safe. Grateful for their dedication and partnership in serving the community.




It was great meeting with NYPD 72nd Precinct Community Council President Tina Ponce. Her dedication to the Sunset Park community is inspiring, and partnerships like this are what make our neighborhoods stronger.



Proud to stand with the men and women of NYPD 69th Precinct today for their Medal Day ceremony. Their bravery, hard work, and commitment to the people of Brooklyn do not go unnoticed. Congratulations to all the honorees.
