Last week, your Quality of Life Division was out in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with NYPD 94th Precinct, Chief of Transportation, and NYC Sanitation to rid the community of derelict, abandoned, and illegally parked vehicles. We successfully removed 26 cars and trucks, freeing up much-needed parking.

Last week, the Quality of Life Division’s Smoke Shop Task Force conducted operations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, targeting illegal marijuana sales on public sidewalks. Their efforts led to multiple seizures and summonses, helping improve conditions in our communities.

During business inspections in Harlem last week, our Quality of Life Division’s Citywide Smoke Shop Task Force recovered a large amount of marijuana and a loaded ghost gun. An arrest was made, taking another illegal firearm off the streets.
