This year, the NYPD has already taken 2,400 guns off the streets — and that number is only growing. Yesterday, NYPD Community Affairs and Queens DA Katz hosted a gun buyback event in Queens and successfully secured 74 firearms, keeping dangerous weapons out of your community.
