Today, we honored Detective First Grade Jonathan Diller with a plaque dedication at the 116th Precinct. His bravery, service, and sacrifice are forever etched into the fabric of this department — and this plaque will serve as a reminder of the standard set for those who follow.

Preservation of life is our first duty. After investigating a 911 call, Officers Indiviglio & Cucchi found an unconscious man without a pulse & immediately rendered aid by performing CPR until EMS arrived & took over. Thanks to their efforts the man was revived. Outstanding job!

Today, we mourned the loss of 51 members of our NYPD family and honored their legacies by adding them to our "Hall of Heroes." They put their lives on the line every single day to protect others, and they gave everything in service to our city. May their memories be a blessing.

10 years ago, Detective Brian Moore was murdered in the line of duty, and today, we paid tribute to his legacy. The NYPD will never forget his commitment to bravely protecting the people of this city, and we will always stand with his family. May his memory be a blessing.

While riding the train, NYPD Chief of Transit officers spotted a robbery in progress at the Elmhurst Ave station. They swiftly intervened and arrested the suspect, a repeat offender, before he could flee.

After a brief pursuit looking for a repeat offender, our 112 Domestic Violence Officer, Daly spotted a habitual offender and made the arrest. Officer Daly received the Cop of the Month award for April. Our Officers are always vigilant & working hard to keep us safe. Great work!

While patrolling #Glendale, PO Gluck & PO Giambianco answered a 911 call reporting mail theft. After canvassing the area, our sharp-eyed Officers located a vehicle linked to a series of mail thefts in the area. They arrested the suspect & recovered mail from various addresses!

During National Police Week we honor all who take the oath to serve, and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This year, the names of 52 members of the NYPD are being added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. May their memories continue to be a blessing.

We held our monthly community council meeting last night & answered questions from community members. Inspector Coleman presented awards to our officers who did outstanding works. We also thank Holly Civic Assoc. & We Love Whitestone Civic Assoc.for sponsoring the awards.
