Proudly wearing orange today in support of an 8.5% COLA for NYS human services and mental health workers (“O” agencies). This increase is long overdue and must be included in this year’s budget! NYS PEF DDAWNY People Inc Holy Childhood

Human services workers bring hope & support to NYC’s most vulnerable. Mayor Eric Adams, it’s high time to bring hope to these workers with fair compensation. Commit to the 6.5% COLA and 16.5% increase over 3 years. #JustPay

Thank you Assemblymember Assemblywoman Amy Paulin! Senator Pete Harckham NYS Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare capitolpressroom.org/2024/04/04/hea…

50 associations rep’ing thousands of Medicaid providers agree: it’s time for Governor Kathy Hochul Sen. Stewart-Cousins @CarlHeastie to bring fairness & balance to OMIG audit practices. Medicaid, human service orgs & New Yorkers deserve protections! Include S5329D/A6813A in final budget!

We support OMIG’s mandate to root out fraud from NY’s Medicaid Program. But we can’t support audit practices that unfairly punish providers for clerical & other errors that are not relevant to the care provided. Include OMIG audit reform in final budget!CPstate COMPA-New York

BIG WIN: Governor Kathy Hochul & state leaders will include a commercial insurance mandate in budget that will increase access to life-saving care for NYers w/ mental health and/or addiction issues. A decade of tireless NYS COUNCIL advocacy to get here. THANK YOU!
