Several regions have an elevated wildfire risk today due to gusty winds & low relative humidity. The New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation has prohibited residential brush burning in Nassau, Suffolk, Richmond, Kings, Queens, Bronx, New York, Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Rockland, Dutchess & Ulster counties.
