Working & living in a correctional setting, you may be exposed to stressful events. People who experience prolonged trauma may suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. We can play a role in helping ourselves, & one another, to protect our mental wellness.

Education opens doors, even behind the walls. On National Higher Education Day, we’re proud to highlight that eligible incarcerated individuals in NYS have access to TAP and Pell grant funding, which empowers them to pursue degrees from DOCCS’ college programs.
