#TodayinHistory: #OnThisDay in 1906, the BMT Canarsie line opened between Atlantic Avenue and Rockaway Parkway. The line has known many names – the 14th St Line, the Canarsie Line, and the “L” Line – and was also once a steam railroad connecting #Canarsie Pier and East New York.
