I was dubbed one of this year's Vox Future Perfect 50! It's absolutely wild to even be mentioned in the same (long) breath as John Green, Chef José Andrés, and Billie Eilish. vox.com/future-perfect…

Thrilled to share that my book Saving Animals, Saving Ourselves is now open access! Animals matter for pandemics, climate change, and other catastrophes, and these catastrophes matter for animals. This book examines the science, ethics, and politics of these relationships. 1/10

Just read Jeff Sebo's “The Moral Circle" which proposes—mainly by way of mobilizing a utilitarian argument—for extending moral consideration to non-humans, including invertebrates, insects, and #AI. It’s well-written, accessible and mind expanding. Highly recommended W. W. Norton & Company
