Today, we're shouting out Council Member Council Member Tiffany Cabán (D22), who has helped us empower the future climate leaders at #NYC schools like the Young Women's Leadership School, The 30th Ave School, & PS 070 in #Queens. Thank you so much for your support in building a new vision for climate ed!

Councilmembers like NYC Council Member Althea Stevens are raising the bar when it comes to climate education, building new opportunities for young NYers to learn about our world's living environment. We're incredibly grateful for her support in building new programs at schools like P.S. 126.

Change starts in the classroom, and we're thankful for the support of council members like Julie Menin who're helping us continue to grow the joy of learning about sustainability science at schools like PS 183.


To make a lasting impact, we need local leaders like cmjuliewon.bsky.social to be the change they wish to see within our communities. And thanks to her continued support, we're imagining a greener, more sustainable future for climate education in #Queens!

We're building innovative hydroponic labs in classrooms around NYC, and thanks to dedicated and visionary council members like Gale A. Brewer, there are amazing opportunities for climate education happening at schools like PS/MS 191, PS 199 and UA School for Green Careers!

Today, we're extending our thanks to Rafael Salamanca, Jr, who has helped us bring quality sustainability and climate education opportunities to where they are needed most, including partners like the School of Performing Arts, PS X811, and PS 75 School of Research and Discovery.

Parks & other green spaces are part of what makes NYC great, but our students deserve even more. We're bringing nature back into #Queens thanks to partners on the city council like Council Member Shekar Krishnan, teaching young New Yorkers about how they impact our climate. Thank you!

It takes a village to change the world, & with councilmembers like NYC Council Deputy Speaker Diana Ayala at our back, we're confident we can build a brighter future. W/ investments from local leaders, we can reinvigorate climate education & help NYC tackle one of the most pressing global issues.

The NYC Emergency Management Travel Advisory remains in effect for the morning of Wednesday, August 7, 2024 due to expected heavy rain conditions. Summer programming will proceed as scheduled, and guardians are encouraged to take their time to safely drop off their kids.

Seeing students succeed gives meaning to our mission, and the support of leaders like Council Member Yusef Salaam makes it all possible. As we look forward to beginning our partnership with Teachers College Community School, we also want to wish the council member a thank-you!


It's up to us to create the opportunities the next generation of New Yorkers needs to thrive. Alongside council members like Carmen De La Rosa, we're inspiring young climate leaders at schools like PS314 & PS132, and building new ways to learn about the importance of climate science.

Thanks to help from Joann Ariola NYC Council District 32, Queens Explorers Elementary School is one of many #Queens schools now teaching young farmer-scientists about the importance of our planet's climate through the lens of hydroponic farming. Together, we can meet the moment on climate education.
