If it wasn't for Kim Woodburn, I wouldn't have got involved with Nacoa 🔆. Saw her walking through the Commons with Liam Byrne MP several years ago. They told me about the charity, which was hosting an event in parliament that day. I accompanied them and I am now a proud patron.

Study by Christopher Oldroyd finds liver patients highly motivated to stop drinking but struggle to do so. 2/3 of patients with alcohol-related cirrhosis drink within 3 months, offering support within liver services sounds sensible. Please remember to signpost family members to support too.
