Very interesting #ica22 presentation by Liza van Lent et al. about predictors of decisional conflict: some individual and doctor-patient interaction related factors contribute. Hope to learn more about this project and that media-related factors will be considered in their model too!

Very interesting scoping review on use of patients’ electronic medical records presented by Debby Damen. Patients feel reluctant in using these forums bc of privacy concerns, lack of knowledge, etc. Very important insights to help empower patients in digital health use #ica22

Rocking her first realtime conference presentation ever: Kim Tenfelde presents our observation study of communication between low-SES patients and their doctors. Interestingly: mainly SES differences in communication by patients, not by doctors #ica22 @mantheunis

Another great #ica22 presentation: No proteus effect in explaining behavior (food choices). Many important questions to be answered for avatar/VR research in health communication, which @Nadinevderwaal will definitely study in the future.
