Zookeeper Michael is showing off one of Mosi the okapi’s coolest features, his prehensile tongue! At 12-14 inches long, an okapi’s tongue is perfect for grabbing snacks and even cleaning their ears and eyelids. 🤯

Our southern pudu fawn officially has a name! Say hello to Benicio (or Beni for short)! 👋 💛 Pudus are the smallest deer species in the world. As this little guy grows to an impressive foot and a half tall, those white spots on his fur will fade away.

Building Leopard Forest meant thinking BIG. 🐆🌳 We relocated massive trees, some over 100,000 pounds 🤯, from elsewhere on Zoo grounds to create an authentic, lush environment for our newest residents. Explore it yourself starting June 20!
