Last night, Cllr Sagal Abdi-Wali led a debate about temporary accommodation and homelessness. With over 1000 households in temporary accommodation, we’re doing all we can to address this by: ▶️ buying & building more council homes ▶️ tackling debt & root causes of homelessness

An excellent reminder from Cllr Djemai of the lived experience that underpins everything we do on planning in Camden. Very glad that we passed this last night (even wore a bow tie for the occasion)- our way of making sure Camden and London are fit for the future!

Today in the Commons, I asked how the UK-EU deal can support London’s West End, a vital hub for culture, tourism, and our creative industries. Removing the burden of carnets must be a priority in future negotiations to unlock even more opportunities. 📹👇
