Not going to lie. I'm hanging out more on Bluesky & it feels like new beginnings. Fresh and friendly. Like the early days of Twitter before things got weird.

Part of working in an integrated system is recognising respective strengths & not trying to own it all. The VCSE is exceptional at relational support, rooted in trust. So pls fund them accordingly & trust them to deliver this. #soapbox #unapologetic

Fascinating to hear Naomi Fisher speak at Progressive Education #InspireEducationSummit re the spark of curiosity that's innate in children & how (unintentionally) we often make learning harder in the context of the education landscape.

Kids are so savvy at reading people. They see way beyond the words & can intuit alignment (and misalignment) so instinctively. As adults we think we have a lot to teach young people, but it is a wholly reciprocal dynamic.

Pls can we add 'An Oscar look' to the OED? (14yo offspring reference) Definition: A cursory glance in haste with an underlying intention for a responsible adult to take over and locate said item. To appear thorough yet be deliberately superficial.

Someone I very much respect sent me a lovely email re my imminent career change, which said: 'You have a gift to reflect on what is lonely and hard and to transmute it into collective abundance.' I'd never thought of it that way & was really very moved.

It's not a typo. Most of us think freedom is when we're 'free from' an experience. We hold fear at arms length which, in itself, creates resistance & perpetuates the experience. I'm running an immersive 1-1 coaching programme in the new year to explore this. DM for more info.
