This Friday at Lange Nacht der Zürcher Museen (langenacht-zuerich.ch), come check out my talk on how matter can be both a wave and particles, along with other fantastic talks on all things wave-related! Thanks to Focus Terra @ETH_ERDW for the opportunity.

Thanks again to Focus Terra @ETH_ERDW for giving me the chance to talk about quantum waves last Saturday. It was great fun and nice to see how many people (especially young people) are intrigued by the mysteries of the quantum world!

Had a great time at the Swiss #FameLab finals yesterday! Thank you so much to FameLab Switzerland, British Council, and all other partners for supporting this event. I am honored to be representing Switzerland in the international heats!

A heartfelt congratulations to all the winners of this year's #NobelPrize! A very well-deserved award and a personal favorite. The research of these three amazing physicists (and their teams) played an important role in courses during my Masters and have always fascinated me.

I like the idea, but is this really the best example? As a physicist, I understand little of this abstract's "basic introduction" though it should be "comprehensible to a scientist in any discipline". Regardless, I am all for clear and easy to understand abstracts!

Had some fantastic questions from the audience tonight for my talk on wave-particle duality for focusTerra @ETH_ERDW: why is it important to know if something is a wave or particle? Or the classic:what does this mean for the moon: is it still there even if we don't look? 🌜

A small peek behind the scenes of yesterday's FameLab international final to see the contraptions one builds to get the perfect set-up, right Dr Nehemiah Latolla ;) Also thanks to Ubique for letting me use the space and all of the fantastic equipment!

I'm super happy to have been part of this very cool project by the SRF Einstein team! It's a great way to highlight the work being done in Switzerland and of course our new exhibit at Technorama.

If anyone is looking for something to do over the rainy Easter, maybe think about preparing a talk for the FameLab Switzerland competition! famelab.ch Heats in Zurich -19.04 and Basel -03.05 are coming up soon! It's a fantastic experience ! #SciComm

Single atoms for everyone Thanks to a collaboration between ETH Physics and the Swiss Science Center Technorama, visitors can see with their naked eye objects that behave according to the unfamiliar laws of quantum mechanics. 📷 Palma Fiacco/Technorama phys.ethz.ch/news-and-event…
