I am not seeing coverage of this historic act of solidarity. What should we be doing to amplify and support?

The Israeli Ambassador has historically rejected Palestinian statehood aspirations, supporting a Greater Israel. She described the 1948 Nakba as “an Arab lie” & when told she was making “an argument for destroying the whole of Gaza,” she replied, “do you have another solution?”.

On this day we should reiterate our call for all hostages to be released - both Israeli and Palestinian, & that indiscriminate killing of civilians by either Hamas or Israel should be condemned. That shouldn’t be controversial for anyone who believes in justice & human rights.

Fine we have come to expect that Keir Starmer & David Lammy don’t think Palestinian or Lebanese lives matter. But imagine any other country let’s say Russia attacking UN troops - the UK would be immediately announcing sanctions. Instead the UK continues to arm Israel.
