Thinking about using ChatGPT to help with poker? Think again. On the latest Risky Business pod, Nate Silver and I talk about its abysmal abilities and then dive into Harvard 2.0, aka, Trump's Harvard Derangement Syndrome (HT to Steven Pinker for the name): lnk.to/PoPvql

Book has sold 150k copies already per Max Tani, which is very good. And although I have a few nitpicks, it's revealing that Rupar frames it as betraying one's audience because it happens to include journalism that's important and accurate but annoying to partisan hacks.

The problem with Bluesky (and Mastodon as well) is they mostly have one kind of asshole. They operate unchallenged, leading to extreme asshole saturation. Meanwhile, X has *all* kinds of assholes working against each other, so they kinda cancel each other out.

In my latest, I spinned off Nate Silver's piece "ChatGPT is Shockingly Bad at Poker" and wrote about ChatGPT's weird chess style. It's terrible. And it cheats! Or does it? And what can its chess weaknesses teach us about what to be wary of when taking its "life advice"?

Funny thing... we addressed the question of how long Elon would last on the very first episode of the GD POLITICS podcast. The betting markets at the time said there was a 43% chance he'd be out this year. Nate Silver didn't hesitate to buy at those odds.
