Intermittent or Unreliable? German coal (wind output ⬇️) being sent to back up French nukes (~50% of reactors are offline). We know the wind doesn't always blow, and can plan accordingly. Harder to plan around outages when ~90% capacity factors are expected.

Quick summary of the new regulation governing the production of #GreenHydrogen in the EU. Looks like good news for 🇸🇪, 🇳🇴, and 🇮🇸 who can connect directly to the grid without additionality requirements. For everyone else, direct connection or PPA with new, unsubsidised RES-E.

A tax free stipend that barely covers the basics is of little use. I'd say most PhDs would swap for employee status and all the benefits that come with (pension contributions, sick leave, tax credits etc) as is the case in 🇫🇷, 🇳🇱, 🇨🇭, 🇦🇹, 🇩🇪, 🇩🇰, 🇫🇮, 🇸🇪, 🇳🇴. #PGRsDeserveBetter
