A total of 21 nationalities played football, touch rugby, cricket and experienced yogo on the Peace Pitch, Mesen, Belgium, at the 2024 Global Peace Games. In the week of International Day of Peace the GPGs celebrated 73 Peace Field Projects twinned with the Flanders Peace Pitch.

Maidstone United Football Club are the first Kent club to twin with Flanders Peace Field Peace Pitch, Mesen, Belgium, site of the First World War Christmas truces. On behalf of the CFA a big thank you to Helen Grant, MP, for presenting the PFP Plaque to MUFC

SATURDAY 7th JUNE 2025 Sponsored Peace Walk.  The Peace Walk starts 12 noon at Tyne Cot Cemetery and ends approximately 3 pm at Flanders Museum, Ypres, Belgium.  All monies raised will go towards young people less fortunate to participate in the weeklong 2025 Global Peace Games

ONE WEEK TO GO BEFORE THE SPONSORED PEACE WALK 7th JUNE 2025. According to The Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Vision of Humanity there are currently 50 to 70 armed conflicts in the world today.

The PEACE WALKERS are raising money for the 2025 GLOBAL PEACE GAMES in a year that recorded the Global Peace Index reports of 56 conflicts currently happening, and this is the most since World War II, with 92 countries involved in conflicts outside their borders.
