Today at NCI Needles we said a final goodbye to our fellow watchkeeper and friend Terry who was taken way too soon.on Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. His NCI family did him proud with a guard of honour as he was carried into and out of Church. RIP Terry

Busy day for our volunteers today helping out in our community. Freshwater Independent Lifeboat with the Islands High Sheriff first thing, then marshaling various checkpoints and the water station around the station for the Needles half Marathon. With a fly past of 4 Lynx heos

We fly at half mast tomorrow to mark the funeral of Steve Norris he was a founder member and Coxswain for 3 decades of our neighbours Freshwater Independent Lifeboat. His funeral service will be held at Christ Church Totland, PO39 0ES, at 11am on Friday 12th August.
