I was delighted to pick up the Muddy Boots award for Nature Champions at the parliament tonight for all my various visits to see the Bilberry Bumblebee and ash trees. There are some fantastic nature champs among MSPs.



Last night we joined Scottish Parliament to celebrate 100+ MSP Nature Champions who speak up for Scotland’s species & habitats 👏 We shared our #BumblebeeManifesto and congratulated Bilberry bumblebee champion Graham Simpson on winning the Muddy Boots award for his hands-on dedication! 🥾


Yesterday Scottish Environment LINK members came together with MSPs to celebrate Scotland's Nature Champions! Sponsored by Alex Burnett MSP, the event was a great chance to recognise some of the fantastic work MSPs and LINK members do to bring a voice for nature into the Scottish Parliament.



I had the pleasure of attending the Environment LINK reception at the Scottish Parliament with my colleagues which was sponsored by my colleague Alex Burnett MSP. The event celebrated over 100 MSP Nature Champions who are committed to the protection of Scotland's iconic species. It


Last week, we were delighted to present awards to Nature Champions to celebrate some of their fantastic work so far over this parliament. 🏆🌳🌊 Many congratulations to all the nominees and winners Willie Rennie, Christine Grahame MSP, Graham Simpson, Ariane Burgess and Monica Lennon MSP!

The Noctule Bat is usually one of the first bats to appear in the evening, with calls just audible to the human ear. In summer, these ginger-golden bats roost in trees with holes made by woodpeckers, rot, or splits. #NatureChampioned by Miles Briggs MSP with Bat Conservation Trust
