Racist graffiti and broken windows at the Holiday Inn Express in Tamworth this morning. One officer was injured in last night’s disorder, which saw people force their way into this hotel which houses asylum seekers. We’re told that those living here have been moved elsewhere.

This group of women have been clearing up outside the hotel in Tamworth. They all live locally and decided to give up their free time this morning. They say last night’s disorder doesn’t represent their town and they want to “spread love”.
