Congratulations to UVA Kinesiology PhD candidate Jen Xu on the publication of our study in BMJ Military Health. In this study, we found that female sex, age>30y, enlisted rank, occupation, & service in the Army were salient factors for plantar fasciopathy. militaryhealth.bmj.com/content/early/…


It was a pleasure to be a part of this team. A big BZ to Andy, who recently commissioned as a 2ndLt in U.S. Marines after her PhD defense, on this highly salient study on #tacticalathlete performance after operational training. This has implications for military training and readiness.
