Last week we welcomed a team from Windfall Films to film the Navy Wings Swordfish for an upcoming documentary about the sinking of the Bismarck on the National Geographic channel. As soon as we know when the programme will be shown on TV, we will let you know.

Our engineers have completed a 10 hourly check on the Swordfish, as well as a 50 hourly on the Harvard. The Wasp also had its 50 hourly, and had the blades removed for X-Ray to look for signs of corrosion or cracks. Thankfully, all is well, and the Wasp is ready for action.

The heritage hangar is ready for our guests for today's unveiling of newly restored de Havilland Chipmunk G-RNVR, a popular historic Fleet Air Arm training aircraft specifically restored to be a flying memorial and national focus of remembrance for the RNVR (A) Branch #flynavy
